Job Summary
Develop and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines using GCP services like BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc. Load, transform, and optimize data for analytics while integrating sources from APIs, databases, and files. Assist in data migration from legacy systems such as Oracle and MicroStrategy, ensuring compliance with data quality, governance, and security standards. Collaborate with analysts and business teams to support reporting needs. This role requires 35 years of experience in data engineering or ETL development and hands-on expertise with the GCP Data Stack.
Required Qualifications
- 35 years experience in data engineering or ETL development
- Hands-on experience with GCP Data Stack (BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer, Dataproc)
- Solid SQL and Python skills
- Understanding of data modelling concepts and performance optimization
- Willingness to learn and work on large-scale migration projects
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Azure Data Stack is a plus
