Job Summary
BI Analyst to transform data into actionable insights supporting strategic and operational decision-making. Responsibilities include performing data analysis using SQL, Power BI and SSAS cubes; developing and maintaining financial reports and BI dashboards; handling ad-hoc reporting requests; optimizing BI reporting workflows and automation; overseeing BI data with SQL; generating reports and dashboards with Excel, Tableau, and Power BI; collaborating with business users to address data-related inquiries; assessing processes, analyzing data trends, and delivering actionable insights for improvement; ensuring data integrity and accuracy of BI metrics; working with large datasets, data modeling, and performance tuning for efficient analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a BI, data analytics, or reporting role
- SQL (Strong experience required)
- Excel (Advanced skills including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and VBA are a plus)
- Power BI (Experience with DAX, Power Query, and data modeling is a plus)
- Tableau (Building dashboards and reports)
- SSAS (Familiarity with OLAP cubes and multidimensional analysis)
- MongoDB (Familiarity is a plus)
- DAX (Experience is a plus)
