Job Summary
Monitor and supervise clients to ensure safety and adherence to facility rules while assisting with daily activities, recovery goals, and transportation. Conduct admissions, orientations, and discharges; perform routine observations and wellness checks. Document interactions, incidents, and behaviors accurately. Facilitate educational groups and co-facilitate recovery-focused activities as assigned. Perform facility inspections to ensure cleanliness and compliance. Report behavioral concerns, crises, or emergencies immediately to clinical and supervisory staff. Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and continuing education programs. Maintain a minimum of one year of continuous sobriety and hold a valid driver's license. Schedule includes full-time or part-time day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts at $15 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug screening (UDS)
- Must maintain a minimum of one (1) year of continuous sobriety from alcohol and illicit substances
- Understanding of substance use disorders, recovery principles, and trauma-informed care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries with clients
- Ability to remain calm and professional during crisis situations
- Strong observation, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Empathy, integrity, and commitment to client recovery
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Ability to respond quickly during emergencies and crisis situations
- Ability to transport clients and operate company vehicles safely
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in behavioral health, substance use treatment, healthcare, or human services
- CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe
