Job Summary
Provide electro-mechanical operational, preventative, and emergency maintenance support at Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport. Perform preventive maintenance tasks on conveyors and baggage handling components, diagnose equipment failures, and execute mechanical/electrical repairs. Prepare and document work orders with detailed information, follow Lock Out Tag Out and safety procedures, and communicate effectively with Senior Technicians and Supervisors. Requires high school diploma or GED, 2+ years mechanical experience, 1+ year electrical/electronic experience, English proficiency, and ability to pass drug screen and background checks; ability to work a 24/7 schedule and lift up to 50-100 pounds. This is a part-time role with weekly pay and benefits including health, PTO, holidays, retirement plan, and training opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of mechanical work experience
- 1+ year of basic electrical and/or electronic systems work experience
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to pass drug screen, background check, and required airport security procedures
