Job Summary
Plan and supervise daily indoor track and field team activities, including practice sessions, meet scheduling, and equipment distribution. Confirm student eligibility, coordinate with the athletic trainer for injury management, and manage attendance records. Handle pre-season and post-season logistics such as uniform inventory checks, transportation requests, and equipment collection. Communicate schedules and announcements to families via weekly updates and assist with administrative paperwork. Ride buses to away contests and drive the school van as needed. Maintain compliance with MIAA policies and concussion awareness training while contributing to the diversity and excellence of the Brookline Public Schools community.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of MIAA Rules and Policies
- Concussion awareness training certification
- CPR/AED certification
- Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment
- Full vaccination status as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- High School Coaching experience or equivalent
