Job Summary
Conduct personal care activities assisting patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation, transfers, dressing, and meal preparation. Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments while performing light housekeeping. Provide patient-specific tasks such as hospice supportive care, medication reminders, range of motion exercises, and incontinence care using equipment like gait belts and Hoyer lifts. Schedule includes flexible shifts with weekend differentials. Full-time equivalent benefits and employee referral bonuses available.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living
- Ability to perform personal hygiene assistance
- Ability to assist with ambulation and transfers
- Ability to assist with dressing
- Ability to prepare meals and snacks according to instructions
- Ability to accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
- Ability to perform light housekeeping activities
- Ability to provide hospice supportive care
- Ability to provide medication reminders
- Ability to assist with prescribed range of motion exercises
- Ability to care for bed-bound patients
- Ability to use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts
- Ability to perform incontinence care
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Weekend Shift differential availability
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience with Hoyer lift
- Preferred experience in personal care
- Preferred experience in range of motion exercises
- Preferred experience in light cleaning
