Job Summary
Medical Assistants to work in long term temp assignment in ambulatory practices at MGH. Responsibilities include directing patients to exam rooms, obtaining and recording vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, assisting with procedures and injections, and other duties such as taking medical histories, recording information in medical records, handling basic office tasks, collecting blood or tissue specimens, preparing treatment rooms, and maintaining clean, stocked environments. Must have excellent communication, the ability to prioritize tasks, ensure privacy and confidentiality, and follow local/state/federal rules. Position is a long-term temporary role with a 40-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, onsite at Boston-area sites; pay starts at $21 per hour and may increase with experience.
