Job Summary
Develop knowledge of flavors within collections and apply this information to win business by conducting daily brief-related tasks during the flavor selection and evaluation process. Interpret data spanning consumer trends, regulatory requirements, and technical performance to support selection activities that drive sales for the Commercial Team. Use advanced sensory science, data-driven insights, and formulation expertise to optimize flavor solutions, while participating in customer brief evaluations, summarizing group tasting results, and managing flavor stock libraries. Collaborate with Sales, Regulatory, and Production partners to provide technical assistance and share updates across teams. This Cincinnati-based role reports to a Knowledge Base Manager, offering hands-on experience applying data-driven decisions to flavor innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline
- 2+ years of experience in the Flavor or Food industry
- Technical skills in Beverage or Sweet Goods applications
- Sense of taste and smell to recognize and describe flavors with accuracy
