Job Summary
Beverage Server role at MGM Yonkers in a fast-paced casino environment. Responsibilities include taking orders, serving drinks efficiently and accurately, garnishing and presenting cocktails, knowledge of menu items and beverage brands, responding to guest inquiries with accurate information about hotel services and local attractions, maintaining cleanliness of the station, and handling opening/closing duties. Ability to resolve guest complaints within authority or escalate to management, and uphold hospitality standards to deliver a seamless, engaging guest experience. Must be 18+ and able to obtain NYS Gaming Commission licensure; requires high school diploma or GED and availability for varied shifts including day, swing, and graveyard, with weekend/holiday availability. Prior cocktail/food server experience in a casino/resort/lounge is preferred. Pay rate is $17.02/hour and is tip-eligible; overtime as required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to obtain licensure as required by the New York State Gaming Commission
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior relevant experience as a cocktail and/or food server (casino/resort/lounge) preferred
