Job Summary
Beverage Server position at Blue Lake Casino & Hotel in the lounge department. Serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and professionally, assists bartenders, maintains stock, accepts payments and makes change, and promotes the lounge menu. Responsible for keeping the lounge area clean and presentable, reconciling revenue, and delivering quality customer service. Requires high school diploma or GED and at least three months of related experience, valid Blue Lake Tribal Gaming Commission license, completion of TIPS training within three months, and being at least 21 years old. Must be able to stand, move, and handle products in a fast-paced casino environment; wears black non-slip boots; no supervisory responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and three months related experience and/or training
- Valid and active Blue Lake Tribal Gaming Commission License
- Must complete TIPS training within three months of being employed and maintain it thereafter
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to stand, walk, handle, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds regularly
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
