Job Summary
Beverage Merchandiser in the Saratoga Springs region responsible for displaying merchandise, greets store owners/managers to review instructions, places new merchandise on display, organizes back room, repacks damaged packages for shelf or cooler, monitors and updates shelf tags, takes stock inventory, assists with resets, maintains current and themed POS to ensure maximum account coverage, and communicates with drivers and sales staff. Weekend work is required. The role involves physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds and potential exposure to refrigerated environments, with travels to client accounts. Requires excellent customer service, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work in a team within a retail/sales environment.”,
Required Qualifications
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Greets store owner or manager to review specific instructions
- Display merchandise that meet customer’s needs, and emphasizes selling points of article such as quality
- Based on instruction from the salesman, places new merchandise on display
- Organizes customer’s back room
- Repackages any damaged packages and replace on shelf or cooler for customer
- Monitors and updates shelf tags
- Takes inventory of stock and reports low volumes and out of stock situations
- Assists with resets as needed
- Maintain current and themed P.O.S. to ensure maximum account coverage
- Adheres to all standards in sales manual (rotation etc)
- Checks voicemail 3 to 4 times daily/communicates with drivers and salesmen on a regular basis
- Requires weekend work!
- Valid driver’s license
- Must have reliable transportation throughout work day
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Knowledge of database software; Internet software
