Job Summary
The Beer and Wine Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the Beer and Wine department operations within Redner’s Markets. This includes overseeing ordering, storage, invoicing, and maintaining profitability through sales forecasting and staff management. Key responsibilities involve maintaining inventory control, managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations, and providing employee training. Strong analytical and communication skills are required, along with the ability to stand for long periods and lift items as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Basic computer knowledge to navigate online ordering of products.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills to analyze product movement programs and maintain reports and schedules.
- Strong communication skills for dealing with customers, employees, and vendors.
- Ability to stand on your feet for the entire work shift.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds for 30% of the time working.
