Job Summary
Lead and oversee beverage operations at Montage Healdsburg. Responsibilities include establishing and overseeing alcoholic beverage training for front-of-house staff, developing and maintaining cocktail programs with vendors, interviewing and coaching associates, coordinating monthly department and pre-shift meetings, managing inventory, pricing strategies, POS programming, and cost controls. Serve guests directly as needed (bartending, table service, bussing) and ensure safety and sanitation policies are followed. Requires beverage supervisory/management experience, strong vendor relationships, data analysis and Excel proficiency, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Required Qualifications
- Beverage supervisory or management experience
- Previous beverage buyer experience with extensive wine and spirit knowledge
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prepare and analyze data, figures, and transcriptions prepared on and generated by computer
- Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
