Job Summary
Beverage Equipment Service Technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing beverage and commercial food equipment for BERCO in Charleston, SC, with take-home company vehicle and home-dispatch. Eligible candidates will participate in on-call rotations, maintain vehicle stock and safety equipment, and engage in ongoing training to enhance technical skills. The role requires mechanical aptitude, strong communication, the ability to work from a home base, and proficiency with documentation via mobile devices.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- General knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures
- Coachable and eager to learn
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills for documentation via iPad/cell phone
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and work in tight spaces
- Comfort working in extreme temperatures and heights
- Dexterity for electrical components and precise measurements
- EPA Preferred but not required
