Beverage Cart Attendant

Job Summary
Sell refreshments from the movable Beverage Cart on the Golf Course(s) and prepare food and beverage items for sale at the Halfway House and Snack Bar. Meet and greet guests, read and analyze starter sheets, and assist anyone on the courses by knowing course layouts and locating information. Stock and maintain inventory, operate the Point of Sale computer system, clean facilities, and make change. Work 10-hour shifts between 7:00am and 6:00pm during the season, including weekends and holidays. Must be 18 years of age, able to work independently, and demonstrate the 12 Greenbrier Values of Safety, Honesty, Excellence, Respect, Empowerment, Pride, Teamwork, Loyalty, Commitment, Cleanliness, Responsibility, and Fairness.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to adapt to change
- Ability to anticipate guest needs and respond accordingly
- Communicate effectively with guests and staff
- Ability to give and receive accurate information from guest, rangers, professional staff, and starters in a timely manner
- Possess basic math skill to include making change in a timely manner
- Must be able to problem solve and remain calm under pressure
Desired Qualifications
- Public relations experience
- Food and beverage preparation and service experience
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Knowledge of the game and etiquette of golf
- 10 hours per day in season between 7:00am-6:00pm
- Weekends and holidays required
