Job Summary
Beverage Barback at Rivers Casino (overnight, full-time) provides support to the beverage team by stocking liquor manifold, distributing beer and liquor orders, setting up and restocking beverages, maintaining cleanliness of the pop and liquor rooms, keeping bar and storage areas tidy, maintaining ice levels, restocking beer, monitoring chemical levels in dish machines, managing garbage disposal, and emphasizing safety with incident reporting and cross-shift communication. Requires ability to work under pressure; prior similar experience is preferred; must maintain a cooperative, well-groomed appearance; understand Material Safety Data Sheets; obtain RAMP certification and Pennsylvania Non-Gaming License with Rivers Casino assistance; ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly (and 50+lbs occasionally); flexible to work various shifts including holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Exhibit a cooperative, friendly nature with a well-groomed appearance.
- Ability to understand Material Safety Data Sheets relevant to the position.
- Must be able to obtain a RAMP certification
- Possess strong teamwork skills and flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays.
- Obtain and maintain all necessary state licensing for the role.
- Certifications: Obtain a Pennsylvania Non-Gaming License. Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with this license.
- Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing and working in the bar areas; Capacity to lift and pull up to 50lbs regularly, and occasionally handle 50+lbs.
