Job Summary
Mount, dismount, and repair commercial vehicle and off-the-road tires while operating heavy-duty equipment like boom cranes and compressors. Load and unload tires on trucks, review work orders, and document all service performed accurately per company policy. Perform emergency road service calls on nights and weekends as needed, maintaining assigned service vehicles and complying with OSHA safety regulations. This role requires a valid driver's license, DOT physical, and ability to lift up to 150 lbs in a fast-paced environment. Sign-on bonuses are available for eligible candidates based on hire level.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment
- Ability to work on a team and independently
- Ability to communicate, verbally and written, clearly and professionally with co-workers and management
- Must be able to properly dismount, mount, balance, and repair Commercial Vehicle and Medium Truck tires
- Must be able to perform emergency road service calls on nights and/or weekends on a rotating basis
- Must comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements pertaining to this position
- Must comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements
- Required to handle hazardous materials and wear various forms of protective equipment (safety shoes, gloves, protective eyewear, etc.)
- Required to lift 75-100 lbs. routinely; may be required to occasionally lift up to 150 lbs. individually
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of tire service technician experience
- CDL License a plus
- TIA certification
