Job Summary
Perform personal care activities assisting patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation, transfers, dressing, and meal preparation. Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments while performing light housekeeping tasks. Provide patient-specific activities such as hospice supportive care, medication reminders, range of motion exercises, and incontinence care. Use lifting equipment like gait belts and Hoyer lifts for patient safety.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living
- Ability to perform light housekeeping activities
- Ability to perform patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home staff
- Ability to use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience with Hoyer lift
- Preferred experience in personal care
- Preferred experience in Range of Motion Exercises
- Preferred experience in light cleaning
