Job Summary
Perform personal care activities assisting patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation, transfers, dressing, and meal preparation. Provide patient-specific care such as hospice supportive care, medication reminders, range of motion exercises, and incontinence care while using lifting equipment like gait belts and Hoyer lifts. Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments and perform light housekeeping tasks as instructed. Weekend shift differentials and weekly pay are available for full-time equivalent roles with health insurance benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living
- Ability to perform light housekeeping activities
- Ability to provide hospice supportive care
- Ability to provide medication reminders
- Ability to assist with prescribed range of motion exercises
- Ability to care for bed-bound patients
