Job Summary
Design the end-to-end data and AI architecture for the program, establishing technical vision within the Agile Architecture, Planning, & Execution team. Provide expert insights to influence strategy for a scalable, resilient, and secure data ecosystem, ensuring solutions link technology with measurable value. Lead design and implementation of cloud-hosted data services using AWS, Azure, or GCP, while managing ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and big data technologies on platforms like Databricks and Palantir. Enforce data governance policies and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Maintain an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, data architecture, or a related field
- Extensive experience designing and implementing cloud-hosted data services and architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Deep hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and big data technologies
- Proficiency in data modeling, database design, and implementing data governance policies
- Experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks and Palantir
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
- MUST HAVE A TS/SCI CLEARANCE TO APPLY
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting the DOW and working with their data platforms
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala, and expert-level SQL skills
- Experience architecting solutions in high-security environments (e.g., SIPR, JWICS)
- Familiarity with data catalog tools (Collibra, Atlas), MLOps frameworks (MLflow), and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and designing architectures for AI/ML model deployment and serving
