Job Summary
Benjamin Harrison YMCA in Indianapolis seeks a Gym Monitor to provide leadership and oversight of Gym Center activities, ensuring program participants are engaged in experiences that support personal growth, service to others, and positive social development. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- 2 years’ experience working with teens (21 years preferred)
- Possesses good human relation skills with parents, peers and other staff
- Has leadership experience with youth groups and knowledge of group work principles and processes
- Utilizes age-appropriate behavior management techniques with participants and models appropriate behavior
- Displays good organizational skills related to handling paperwork and maintaining materials
