$50,000–$55,000 year
HybridCranbury, New Jersey, United States
Job Summary
Administer employee benefits programs including group health, dental, vision, and wellness benefits while serving as a knowledgeable point of contact for employee inquiries. Use AI tools to draft employee-facing communications, wellness content, and newsletter articles that promote engagement. Coordinate wellness activities such as fitness challenges and mental health workshops, managing logistics from planning through execution. Maintain accurate records in HRIS systems, monitor program effectiveness through participation metrics, and support total rewards initiatives including compensation analysis and recognition programs. Respond to routine HR questions related to benefits, payroll, and time off with accuracy. This role supports the broader HR team in improving the employee experience, requiring a Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of administrative experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of administrative experience, preferably supporting HR functions, with knowledge of employee benefits, wellness coordination, or compensation strategies
- An AI-native mindset. You actively use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot to draft benefits communications, build wellness content, summarize program data, and streamline administrative workflows — and you can speak to how they improve what you deliver to employees
- Exceptional follow-through, attention to detail, and organizational skills — you manage complex, high-volume workflows accurately and nothing falls through the cracks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate benefits and wellness information into clear, engaging content that employees actually read and act on
- Employee-focused and service-oriented — you handle every interaction, from routine questions to complex benefits issues, with professionalism and care
- Proven ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality and discretion
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes initiative without waiting to be asked
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Candidates should be prepared to discuss how they are currently using AI in their HR, benefits, or wellness coordination work
- The ability to effectively leverage AI to improve speed, quality, and output is an expectation in this role, not a preference
Desired Qualifications
- Bonus: examples of AI-assisted communications, wellness campaigns, or administrative workflows that improved employee engagement, program participation, or operational accuracy
