Job Summary
Evaluate data from various electronic sources to enter information into a computer-based eligibility system and compute benefits based on eligibility determinations. Use fact-finding techniques to obtain, relate, and evaluate information provided by applicants while reading, understanding, and applying detailed regulations and policies. Perform basic arithmetic functions and manage time efficiently by establishing priorities in accordance with importance of deadlines. This role requires a local in Tennessee for 9-hour work days with an on-site location, offering a rate of $65 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working with state governmental agencies as an eligibility specialist
- Previous technology adoption project experience in integrated eligibility systems, preferably with Medicaid, SNAP or, TANF programs
- Previous field support and/or training experience
- Strong interpersonal awareness
- Ability to maintain resolve under pressure
- Ability to operate in a remote/work-from-home setting
- Exceptional interpersonal skills & professionalism
