Job Summary
Benefits Specialist responsible for managing and administering employee benefit plans including enrollments, changes and terminations; counsel employees on plan provisions and administrative procedures; liaise with payroll and insurance carriers; perform HRIS data entry and system maintenance; assist with annual benefits open enrollment; review monthly billings and ensure data integrity; provide benefit communications and counseling to employees and dependents; support compliance and benefit analyses; contribute to open enrollment and benefits-related projects.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 years of HR benefits administration experience
- Knowledge of HRIS systems and workflow processes
- Knowledge of benefit programs (medical, dental, STD, LTD, FML, FSAs, life insurance, retirement/401k)
- Proficiency with Microsoft
