Job Summary
Administer and maintain the Firm's benefit plans across medical, dental, vision, and supplemental offerings while serving as a key point of contact for day-to-day inquiries. Conduct benefits orientations and open enrollment meetings, generally twice weekly, and coordinate vendor implementations. Process payroll deductions and journal entries on the 15th and end of month, auditing reports and CMS entries for partners and associates. Create and audit spreadsheets to process monthly vendor invoices, enter benefit adjustments for employees on leave, and verify new hire payroll setups. Complete weekly carrier transmissions and GVUL imports, track part-time hours for ACA eligibility, and handle FSA reporting and San Francisco Health Care Ordinance filings. Support compliance requirements including 5500 filings and audits, draft employee-facing communications, and manage special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of employee benefits experience
- Compliance with legal requirements and knowledge of benefits laws and regulations, including COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel skills
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft/Oracle and Microsoft Office applications
- Basic accounting skills
- Ability to work overtime as necessary
