Job Summary
Benefits Manager responsible for health benefits enrollment, leave administration, and benefits counseling for employees; leads program evaluation, negotiates with external vendors, oversees retirement planning, and ensures compliance with FMLA/USERRA/ACA/ADA; supervises benefit administrators and staff; collaborates with brokers and auditors; creates and updates policies and procedures; requires a Bachelor’s degree and several years in public-school benefits management; location is Charlotte, NC; full-time, 12-month schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in risk management, human resources, or related area required
- Five (5) years’ experience in public schools leave and benefits management preferred
- Equivalent combination of experience and education
- Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License or ability to provide own transportation
- Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings
