Job Summary
Oversee all employee benefits programs, ensuring ACA compliance and accurate year-end 1094/1095 processing; manage relationships with benefits vendors and brokers, communicate benefit policies to employees, and provide data-driven insights and cost projections to guide management decisions. Lead and mentor the benefits staff, perform benefits analysis and market research to keep offerings competitive, and ensure timely reporting and compliance across federal, state, and local regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance or related field or equivalent experience
- Significant experience in a retail environment with a large employer
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
- Experience leading a benefits team
