Job Summary
Benefits Liaison: Coordinate activities of absence programs for specific client; assist the Benefits Program Manager; implement customer surveys; assist in client training and benefits fairs; and prepare reports for program administration. Serve as liaison between the company and client HR and employees to manage absence programs, communicate with client, healthcare providers, and operations teams to resolve escalated issues, evaluate results of absence programs, and develop management reports. Maintain records, monitor satisfaction with leave and disability administration, update procedures and documents, ensure compliance with legal requirements, support client training and benefits fairs, assist with IMEs and FCEs, and travel as needed. The role requires strong communication, analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills and the ability to work independently or in a team within a hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Education & Licensing)
- Six (6) years absence management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Project management, office operations management, disability/absence management, insurance-related and/or statistical analysis experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Negotiation skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Analytical and interpretive skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Travel as needed
