Job Summary
The Benefits & Leave Specialist (HR Generalist) administers FMLA/ADA and workers’ compensation, manages leaves of absence and claims-related activities, oversees benefits administration and annual open enrollment, and supports HR operations including onboarding, policy communications, and HRIS changes. The role collaborates with HR leadership to develop processes, ensures compliance with federal/state laws, maintains employee files, and supports credentialing and subpoena requests. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and at least 2 years of related experience; strong interpersonal, written/verbal communication, organizational, and confidentiality skills are essential, along with the ability to navigate benefit programs, vendor communications, and internal policy updates.
