Job Summary
The Benefits Investigation Manager will oversee the benefits investigation and prior authorization departments, ensuring timely and accurate processing of services to meet quality and production goals. Responsibilities include tracking KPIs, managing relationships with 3rd party vendors, and developing SOPs and training materials. The role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of revenue cycle operations, and the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders. Candidates must have significant experience in the field and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant area.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in billing, benefits investigation and/or prior authorizations.
- Must have experience in prior authorizations. Preferably NGS testing.
- 7+ years of experience leading or supervising billing, benefits investigation and/or prior authorizations teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare or related field; or equivalent experience.
