Job Summary
Manage STD, LTD, and FMLA claims, including employee guidance, coordination with carriers, documentation, and compliance tracking. Serve as a liaison between employees, managers, healthcare providers, and insurance carriers to track leave timelines, benefit impacts, and return to work requirements. Support Open Enrollment, new hire enrollments, and ongoing employee support by acting as the primary point of contact for benefit questions and forms. Maintain confidential employee benefit files in physical and electronic formats while reviewing monthly Fidelity invoices and assisting with annual 401(k) audits. Assist with weekly and biweekly payroll processing in Paylocity, updating benefit deductions and filing payroll documents. This IN-OFFICE role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of payroll processing experience, with a Monday through Friday schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi state environment
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to payroll, benefits, and employment laws
- Advanced understanding of STD, LTD, FMLA, ADA, and overall leave compliance requirements
- Proficiency with Paylocity HRIS and payroll functionality
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage complex and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a clear and supportive approach when working with employees
- Solid understanding of benefits administration and related compliance requirements
- IN-OFFICE (Monday - Friday) position
