Job Summary
Conduct new hire orientation to educate employees on benefits elections and administer enrollments, status changes, and terminations for health, welfare, and voluntary plans. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries while maintaining accurate confidential records within Dayforce. Coordinate COBRA administration through HRIS and third-party vendors, prepare enrollment materials, and support leave processes including FMLA and disability programs. Perform regular audits of benefits data to ensure compliance with ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA regulations. Assist with annual open enrollment planning, system testing, and wellness initiative communications. Provide administrative support for HR projects, process improvements, and incoming mail distribution.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of experience in employee benefits administration
- Strong understanding of benefits programs and related compliance requirements
- Strong knowledge of employee benefit plans and administration practices
- Understanding of applicable regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, and FMLA
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with HRIS systems (Dayforce experience preferred)
