Job Summary
Provide consulting and administrative support for 401(k), pension, and other qualified retirement plans. Analyze retirement plan data, troubleshoot complex issues, and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Support plan operations, including distributions, compliance testing, and daily administration. Review discrimination testing results and assist with annual regulatory filings, including Form 5500 preparation and review. Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure plan compliance and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
- university / college degree
- appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in the retirement services industry, retirement plan administration, or a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) environment
- Strong knowledge of 401(k) plans, pension plans, discrimination testing, distributions, and retirement plan compliance
- Experience with Form 5500 reporting and retirement plan regulatory requirements
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data, identify trends, and tell a compelling story through insights
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and client-facing communication skills
