Job Summary
Benefits Consultant focusing on retaining clients and their existing book of business; develops sophisticated benefit design and renewal strategies and drives the development of solutions to address complex client issues; leads pre-renewal strategy, RFP distribution, SPRs, open enrollment strategy and post-renewal analysis; maintains accountability for revenue and profitability for client accounts; oversees onboarding of new clients and ensures client service exceeds expectations; grows book through cross-selling; maintains strong relationships with clients and carriers; stays knowledgeable on HIPAA, ERISA, PPACA, and related compliance issues; requires Bachelor’s degree and life/health insurance license; proficient in Excel and CRM; strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- 3+ years of benefits consulting experience
