Job Summary
Benefits and Leave Specialist to administer and coordinate employee benefits and leave programs (FMLA, ADA accommodations, parental/personal leave, workers’ compensation) while ensuring compliance and accurate records. The role serves as primary contact for benefits questions, enrollment, and issue resolution; partners with employees and leaders on accommodations and leave processes; maintains confidential HRIS records; supports open enrollment planning and benefits education; collaborates with payroll and vendors; develops policies and timely compliance reporting. Experience with benefits/leave administration in healthcare or multi-location environments and familiarity with ADP or similar HRIS is preferred; strong communication, detail orientation, and ability to handle sensitive information in a fast-paced environment are required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in benefits administration, leave administration, human resources, or related people operations role
- Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, COBRA, ACA, and general leave and accommodation processes
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience maintaining records in HRIS or benefits systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with HR, payroll, operations, and leadership teams
