Job Summary
Senior Benefits Analyst responsible for evaluating and administering health and welfare programs in India, including Open Enrollment, lifecycle management, claims processing, and leave management. Oversees data integrity between HRIS and carriers, collaborates with HR Business Partners on workplace accommodations, reconciles premium billings, maintains SPDs and policy documents, and ensures regulatory compliance under India labor laws. Requires hands-on experience with GMC and GTL renewals, advanced Excel for data reconciliation, and utilization of HRIS platforms (Workday/Oracle/SAP); strong communication and presentation skills to educate employees and leadership, and the ability to manage time-sensitive issues in a fast-paced, confidential environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in Benefits Administration or Total Rewards, specifically within the India corporate landscape
- Comprehensive knowledge of India statutory benefits, including EPF, Gratuity Act, Maternity Benefit Act, and ESI
- Proven experience managing Group Medical Insurance (GMC) and Group Term Life (GTL) renewals and claims advocacy
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) for data reconciliation and auditing
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (Workday, Oracle, SAP) and benefits enrollment modules
- Strong attention to detail with ability to perform complex billing reconciliations and maintain data accuracy
- Ability to deliver clear, engaging benefits presentations to diverse audiences, from new hires to senior leadership
- Discretion handling sensitive teammate information
- Ability to react with urgency to time-sensitive issues in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter who can work independently and solve complex eligibility issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication with a service-first mindset
- Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities including large-scale projects like Annual Open Enrollment
- Experience working in a global matrixed organization
