Job Summary
Support the day-to-day administration of team member benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k). Assist employees with enrollment, changes, and life event processes while maintaining accurate records in HRIS and vendor platforms. Process enrollments, changes, and terminations to ensure data is entered correctly and on time, and monitor eligibility for auditing and compliance. Partner with Payroll to verify correct benefits deductions and coordinate with external vendors on routine questions and escalations. Track documentation and stay current on regulations to improve internal processes.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in benefits, HR operations, or a related administrative role
- High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, HRIS platforms, and third-party vendor tools
- Clear communication and customer service skills

- Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details
- Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- internship or HR assistant experience a plus
- Basic understanding of employee benefit programs and common regulations (ACA, HIPAA, COBRA) preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the HR or Total Rewards field
