Job Summary
Benefits Advisor responsibilities include delivering VA Transition Assistance Program (TAP) activities as an entry-level instructor, conducting standardized VA Benefits and Services Briefings, one-on-one engagements, and post-event data collection. The role requires applying adult learning theories, knowledge of transitioning service members, and delivering established curriculum with adherence to training objectives. The position involves onsite activities at Fort Leonard Wood, MO, participating in site lead meetings, quality management, and supporting TAP events with strong customer service and workshop delivery skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with military clientele are preferred; certifications in VA benefits or related fields are valued. The role is full-time with up to 50% travel, hourly pay structure, and non-exempt/SCA rates, with required resume and local training experience.
