Job Summary
Benefits Advisor delivers VA TAP curriculum onsite at Buckley SFB, conducting standardized VA Benefits and Services Briefings, one-on-one engagements, pre-separation counseling, and military-life-cycle events; serves as entry-level instructor delivering established training objectives, with activities including onsite sessions, site-lead participation, quality-management activities, and post-event data collection. Requires understanding of adult learning theories, transitioning service member populations, proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong customer management and support skills, and experience delivering interactive workshops to live audiences. Travel up to 50% is expected; location is Buckley Space Force Base, Aurora, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 3 years’ equivalent work/military experience
- Preferred emphasis in Training, Education, Career Counseling, or HR
- Appropriate certifications
- Experience delivering interactive workshops and training to live audiences
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite of tools
- Strong customer management and support skills
