Job Summary
Entry-level Benefits Advisor to conduct VA transition activities in support of the Transition Assistance Program (TAP). Deliver onsite benefits briefings, one-on-one engagements, military life cycle events, Capstone events, and warm-handover support. Serve as an entry-level instructor delivering established curriculum and ensuring training content aligns with objectives. Responsibilities include executing non-event activities at assigned installation, participating in Site Lead meetings, conducting quality management activities, delivering onsite activities, and performing post-event data collection. Requires understanding of adult learning theories and transitioning service member populations, experience using Microsoft Office, strong customer management and support skills, and experience delivering interactive workshops. Travel up to 50% to installations (e.g., Fort Carson). Preferred familiarity with VA benefits programs and working with military clients. Bachelor’s degree or 3 years’ equivalent work/military experience; appropriate certifications.

- Understand and apply adult learning theories
- Understanding of transitioning Service member populations
- Preferred emphasis in Training, Education, Career Counseling, or HR
- Appropriate certifications
