Benefits Administrator

Job Summary
Assist employees with benefits questions and issues, distribute benefit information to newly hired and terminated staff, and guide candidates through the enrollment process. Maintain accurate records of employee benefits, review and transmit monthly vendor invoices, and update vendor systems. Administer employee purchase policy, oversee Wellness Programs, and manage Leaves of absence and Life Insurance/LTD Claims. Ensure employees understand and fully utilize their offerings through continued education. This hybrid role supports POOLCORP's global operations across the US and Canada, serving a workforce of nearly 6,000 employees in the outdoor living industry.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 1 to 3 years related experience in health & welfare plans, 401(k) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and other MS Office programs
- Ability to handle moderate complex issues
- Solid working knowledge of subject matter
- Experience with Benefits platforms such as Workday or similar software
- Knowledge of benefits concepts, practices, and procedures
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bilingual
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing
- Successful completion of background verifications
