Job Summary
Benefits Administrator responsible for directing and planning day-to-day operations of group benefits programs (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, workers' compensation, life insurance, 401k/retirement plans, FSA, COBRA, etc.), coordinating open enrollment, maintaining benefits files, ensuring regulatory compliance, analyzing plan designs, and providing excellent customer service. Requires strong knowledge of ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, and related regulations; proficiency with HRIS/benefits databases; ability to manage complex projects and communicate effectively with vendors and employees.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or human resource management or related field
- 5 years’ experience in human resources and/or benefits administration
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist preferred; Retirement Plans Associate preferred
