Job Summary
Benefit Fair Representatives educate employees on VSP Vision Care plans and encourage membership enrollment at benefit fairs. Responsibilities include traveling to VSP client locations or participating virtually, explaining plans, answering questions, referring to Customer Service, providing feedback, maintaining material inventory, and potentially giving presentations. Ideal candidates will have customer service experience, professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask and adapt to varying client needs.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills with all levels of people within an organization.
- Professional and friendly conduct.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Comfortable speaking to small groups and giving presentations to larger groups.
- Access to personal cell phone and email, proficient with the internet.
- Access to personal webcam and audio for virtual events.
- Ability to plan and schedule travel and out-of-town accommodations.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
- Business attire required unless directed otherwise.
- Ability to walk or stand 90% of the day at onsite events.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the insurance industry or human resources.
- Customer service, HR/benefits, or health insurance experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Additional Requirements
- Open weekday availability throughout the year, especially between September and November.
