Benefit Counselor - Part-time; 4292-206-A

In this part-time Benefit Counselor role, the individual will support residents in obtaining and maintaining benefits by acting as a liaison with Social Security Administration and Human Resources Administration. Responsibilities include assisting tenants with applications, reviewing correspondence from entitlement offices, and accompanying clients to benefits offices. The counselor will generate reports, participate in case conferences and meetings, and assist with crisis intervention as necessary. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, with an Associates and extra experience being acceptable. Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and evenings is required.
