Job Summary
Setup and operate bending machines, changing tooling and uploading jobs into the machine interface. Perform precision forming, bending, and folding on galvanized steel, aluminum, and stainless steel while conducting first-piece inspections. Troubleshoot equipment issues and execute preventative maintenance using measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures. Read computerized blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate job execution. Perform basic arithmetic for calculations.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read computerized blueprints and drawings
- Ability to perform precision forming, bending and folding
- Ability to use and read measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, protractor, and tape measure
- Ability to add and subtract
- Able to bend on a variety of metals, galvanized, Steel, Aluminum and Stainless
