Job Summary
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment by performing welding and soldering tasks to join components. Read blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings while using basic math to measure, cut, and shape metal with tools like grinders and calipers. Assemble parts according to specifications, inspect finished products for quality, and collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow. Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment. Required Qualifications
- Proficient in various welding techniques, including stick welding
- Knowledge of ductwork fabrication and installation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to use calipers for precise measurements
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with operating press brake machines is a plus
