Job Summary
Mid Shift Bench EVS Unit Director in Duarte, CA, to assist in managing the Environmental Services Department under the direction of the Department Director. Responsibilities include staff scheduling, establishing and enforcing work standards, monitoring inventory/equipment usage, troubleshooting, orientation/training of staff, customer relations, and special projects. The role prepares the incumbent to assume operational duties through hands-on training and managerial experience. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, customer service orientation, bilingual English/Spanish skills, and the ability to analyze financial data and manage time effectively.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma required.
- College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
- Healthcare EVS experience at Director or higher level required.
- Floorcare, Linen, Payroll, Unions experience required.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial and other data.
- Demonstrated proficiency with general business acumen.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong service/quality attitude.
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and achieve effective time management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives.
- Strong public speaking skills.
