Job Summary
Follow weekly sales programs to attain maximum volume and achieve budgeted gross profit figures. Carry out preparation of produce records, unload trucks, maintain backroom storage, and ensure coolers and freezers meet standards. Account for inventory control, reinforce sanitation and food safety practices, and consult with the Store Manager on advanced planning and scheduling. Schedule the department, ensure compliance with company standards, and hold direct reports accountable to productivity goals while providing ongoing performance feedback. Personally teach and train staff, building a talent bench through development plans for high-potential individuals.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and 25 lbs. constantly
- Ability to read and understand information and direction
- Knowledge of produce operations
- Ability to supervise people including training and development
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
- Effective communication and guest service skills
- Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time
