Job Summary
Bench Mechanic I in a high mix, lower volume manufacturing environment at an FAA Repair Station. Responsible for pressure testing and cleaning of aircraft engine components per routing, bead blasting, visual inspection, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and assisting with packaging and shipping during peak production. Entry-level with training in duct and metal fabrication/repair; requires safety-first mindset, attention to detail, ability to communicate with coworkers, and capability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications include aerospace/defense experience and FAA A&P certificate; travel 0%.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass FAA drug screen and background check
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
