Job Summary
Cast new jewelry from molds, file fine pieces for polishing, and assemble components using soldering techniques. Restore damaged items to their former glory, adjust sizes, and customize pieces to meet specific design specifications. Maintain a clean workspace while rotating through tasks like engraving, wax carving, and polishing to ensure efficient turnaround times. Perform thorough quality inspections on products and parts to uphold brand standards before preparing finished items for secure shipment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be capable of handling a physically demanding workload
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent communication skills are a must
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to carry and/or lift up to 50 lbs when necessary
Desired Qualifications
- We highly value at least one year of prior experience in jewelry production
- Candidates with previous expertise in various manufacturing skills such as silversmithing, goldsmithing, engraving, fabrication, wax carving, and polishing are preferred
- Familiarity with casting, soldering, and polishing tools and equipment is a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based work environment
- Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment
- Candidates should be eager to take on responsibilities and demonstrate a personal sense of accountability
